Principal's Message

Welcome to Mount Douglas Secondary School! We appreciate your interest. Our reputation for excellence in academics, athletics, fine arts, business and technology education extends throughout the province and, in fact, across Canada. Our professional staff work together to create a warm, welcoming learning environment. Mount Douglas offers ways for all students to reach their personal potential.

We believe in the highest possible standards of achievement for all students, in all aspects of learning. We believe that all learners are welcome at Mount Douglas. The secondary school experience is rich and varied, challenging and rewarding.

We teach the three R's at Mount Douglas. Our three R's are simply Respect, Responsibility and Relationships. These three simple words represent so much about our expectations and the way we work together. Students at Mount Douglas appreciate the importance of their role in contributing to our school community with these concepts in mind.

In addition, we have a vast array of clubs offered by staff and community members. Without question, there is something to meet the interests of all students. For parents, Mount Douglas has an active and enthusiastic Parent Advisory Council known as RAMPAC. Parents are always welcome at our school.
