NOTE: Students NEW to the Greater Victoria School District need to follow the steps outlined under New Applicants to Mount Doug.
Students currently enrolled in the Greater Victoria School District who want to move to a school outside of their designated family of schools must complete the Student Transfer Application Form (see below).

Transfer requests are reviewed with school space in mind, and students receive written confirmation from the district office by March 29, 2013. When students complete a transfer, they will be considered members of the new Family of Schools.
No transfers for students within School District 61 will take place between Feb 23 and March 24. From March 25 – April 2, you are to contact the administration at your current or pathway school. After April 2nd, you must also contact the administration at your current or pathway school to discuss the transfer request before applying to Mount Doug.
Q: Should students applying for District Programs available at Mount Doug complete a Student Transfer Form?
A: The transfer form is not required if accepted to a District Program such as the Challenge Program.

Q: What if we miss the deadline for completing a Student Transfer Form?
A: After Feb 22nd students are asked to contact Mount Doug to complete an application to put their names on a wait list. No transfers will take place from Feb 23 to March 24. A Late Student Transfer Process will take place March 25 – April 2, 2013.
Q. What if I miss the Late Student Transfer process?
Students may still submit an application to attend Mount Doug. However, requests will be reviewed with school space and timetable limitations in mind. Where space is limited, priority will go to those families who are living within the Mount Doug family of schools catchment area.

Q: Can I play sports at Mount Doug if I transfer from another school?
Students who are planning to transfer must be aware that a
change of school might affect their eligibility to play school sports.
