Girls rugby

Congratulations to four of our students who will be representing Mount Doug at the High School 7's All Star rugby game this weekend. They will be playing during the HSBC Womens Canada 7's at Westhills Stadium, Saturday May 27, kick off 3:25pm, between the National teams games. They are being coached by National players and playing in front of thousands of local fans at this world class event! Good luck girls!

Department of National Defence Presentation

The federal government is looking for students interested in finding paid work that connects with their career goals. Students are welcome to come to the Career Centre today at lunch to hear a presentation from the Department of National Defence.

Mount Doug Evening of Dance

Mount Doug's annual Evening of Dance is this coming Friday, June 2nd! Dancers who have been hard at work all year will be performing in the show starting at 7pm. Tickets will be on sale next week starting Monday in the lobby for $5. Pick up a ticket and get ready for a show that is out of this world!

Golf Team

Congratulations to the Mount Douglas Golf Team who qualified for the BC High School Golf Championships with their third place Island finish in Campbell River yesterday. Akari Hayashi led the way with a sizzling 77 in some pretty tough conditions.

Evening of Dance Rehearsal

There is a rehearsal today at flex block for semester 1 junior dancers and choreography class members who do not know finale yet. If you are currently in a dance class but do not know finale yet, you are also welcome to attend this rehearsal. Please come the the dance studio ASAP for rehearsal. We are also running semester 1 dances at this time.

Grad Song Rehearsal

Reminder to ALL grade 12 students that there will be a GRAD SONG rehearsal TODAY right after lunch in the band room. Please check the grad facebook page for what time your class comes down for the rehearsal. All grade 12 students with spare and all grade 12 students in grade 11 classes will come down at 1:11 pm. Please set a reminder.
