Gene Cure Info & Internships

If we are to cure genetic diseases in the future, we must start building the scientific community - starting with high school science students. Presenter will be in the Career Centre during lunch on Thursday Nov. 14 to provide Gene Cure Info as well as Cancer and Physics internships. Grades 10 - 12 are welcome to attend.

MD ECO Invasive Removal and Meeting

MD ECO will be planning our school garden at lunch today in room 219. then during flex block on Wednesday everyone is invited to help plant native seeds as part of a soil experiment. Friday after school join us for an invasive removal on Mount Tolmie.

Fill the Foyer

Another big thankyou to all of Mount Doug for your generous donations for our Fill the Foyer campaign. The final totals are currently being tabulated and our class winners for food and financial donations will be announced tomorrow. By the way, in addition to the tremendous amount of food collected, we also collected $2900. That is a fantastic effort Mt Doug. Well done. If anyone still has food or money they would like to contribute, it would still be gratefully received in our main office.

Fill The Foyer

Well Done Mount Doug! By now all of the fill the foyer hampers and extra food boxes should be in the foyer. All collected money should have been submitted and all toy donations should be brought to the office. THANKS so much to everyone for their donations. You should be feeling pretty good! Kids will definitely be smiling on Christmas morning. Way to go!

Cheer Fundraising

The Mount Doug Cheer team is selling Royals tickets this year! Tickets are available for 4 games in December, January and February including tickets for Country Night and Pink in the Rink to support breast cancer research. Tickets are available for a special fundraising price of $13.50 each, and can be purchased from any member of the cheer team, Ms. Lemmen, or next week during lunch at the table in the foyer. Tickets are a great way to support your cheer team and have a fun night at a Royals Game!
