Battle of the Bands

Ladies & Gentlemen, today is Battle of the Bands!! Today 'we be feastin'!!! Crisp rhythms, buttery vocals, meaty bass lines, saucy guitar lines - come get a taste!! Four bands, each with original compositions, supported by a killer sound system with Sascha Enns (sound tech extraordinaire!) on the dials and buttons, will grace the stage and compete for prizes and musical glory. Starts 2:30pm, tickets $5 at the door.

District Authority Awards

If you are a Grade 12 student who excels in one of the following areas: Performing Arts, Creative Writing, Visual Arts, Physical Activity, Community Service, Second Languages, Indigenous Languages and Culture, Applied Skills (such as Business Ed, Foods, Textiles, ICT) or Technical Trades and Training then you should apply for the District Authority Award worth $1250. For an application form and all details please attend the scholarship class this Friday morning in the Library at 7:45 am.
