Sock Hop Musical Theatre Fundraiser

The Mt. Doug Musical Theatre Sock Hop is Saturday February 24, here at Mt. Doug from 6:00 – 9:00 pm! The Mt. Doug Alumni Association will be serving up ice cream floats, sodas and other sweet treats of the 50’s. There will be costume contest prizes for best 50’s costume as well as dance contests throughout the night. Tickets are available now in the Main Office for $10 and $15 at the door.

Have you ever wished you could travel back in time like Michael J Fox did in Back To The Future? Well, you’ll have a chance to this month if you come to the Mt. Doug Musical Theatre Sock Hop! Saturday February 24, here at Mt. Doug, we’ll be taking a trip back in time to ’59! Live music by local 50’s band Twelve O’Clock Rock will let you hear some of that “Rock And Roll Music” as we “Rock Around The Clock” (or, at least, 6:00 – 9:00 pm) and do “The Twist”, “The Locomotion” and the “Hippy Hippy Shake”! The Mt. Doug Alumni Association will be there doing their best Pop Tate impersonations and serving up ice cream floats, sodas and other sweet treats of the 50’s. There will be costume contest prizes for best 50’s garb as well as dance contests throughout the night. So, get your “Blue Suede Shoes” on, “Yakety Yak” it up with your friends and family, because this is a community event for all ages! Tickets are available now in the Main Office for $10 and all proceeds go to support the Musical Theatre program here at Mt. Doug. Get yours early, because they’ll be $15 at the door! Make sure you “Save The Last Dance” for someone special!
